Brenda Matyolo

Brenda joined ARC in June 2016 as its Chief Operations Officer. She has held leadership and managerial positions across various industries and has experience in building effective teams; project and stakeholder management; growing SMMEs to deliver shareholder value; and transforming supply chains. She has also advised various organisations on how to integrate SA’s Codes of Good Practice with regard to doing business in the context of B-BBEE.

Brenda spent six years as an executive at Eqstra Fleet Management, as well as at Amasondo Fleet Services (Eqstra’s empowerment partner), where she was responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and financial management.

Under her leadership, Amasondo grew to be a competitive player in the fleet management space, becoming the only profitable black-female-owned-and-managed company in the industry. In 2014, Brenda was a finalist for Top Young Executive of the Year for her work at Amasondo.
